What once started as a quiet operation out of the apartment of our founder has since shaped into one of the world's leading distributors and manufacturers of United States flags, flagpoles, and a plethora of other flags and flag accessories. The United States Flag Store was borne out of necessity in 2001 when the country and the rest of the world wanted to wave the stars and stripes to show their patriotism and solidarity with the United States of America. This was done at a time when it would be needed most, as the attack on the World Trade Center had left most of the country and its people confused, scared, and angry. With a simple need requiring to be met, the United States Flag Store would sew its way into existence and the rest is history. What began as one man helping out a handful of customers, companies, and distributors looking to purchase an American flag, at the time scarce and in short supply, to become an enterprise of 100 plus employees serving over 1 million customers across the globe.  

We are currently one of the largest online vendors of American Flags along with a variety of other flags as well that includes: State Flags for all 50 of the United States, World Flags for countries all across the globe, and Military Flags for every branch of the military within the United States. We also carry Flagpoles of all types from indoor flag kits to residential and commercial grade flagpoles. We have a number of Decorative Flags to furnish around any major American holiday for parties, barbeques, and just because. What We Do: American Flags, Flags, and Flagpoles

The United States Flag Store is your one-stop, premier shop for all things flag and flag-related items.

With a name like The United States Flag Store, it should come as no surprise that what we do best and one of our most popular items is our United States Flags. Coming in a variety of different sizes our smallest being handheld stick flags that measure 4 inches by 6 inches. These are great to hand out at parties, parades, and political events. Up to some of our biggest flags measuring 20ft by 30ft, made to tower over any business or industrial plot and wave large, in charge, and proud. We also carry everything in between these two juxtaposing sizes with banner flags at 4ft by 6ft, which look great waving from larger buildings and apartment complexes to the classic 3ft by 5ft flag made to look right at home waving majestically in front of yours. 

Our American flags come from all over the world, whether in-house from our warehouse in Pennsylvania or from abroad. We do this so you can get exactly what you are looking for. If it's the price you are after, you will find a number of imported and economic flags and flagpoles that will fit the bill just right, coming in under budget and leaving your wallet intact. And if you want to purchase an American flag, flagpole, or any other flag-related item made in the United States, we have got plenty of those too. We try to be as transparent as we can by letting you know where a particular product happens to come from. For all of our items that are made in the U.S.A., we have put a little badge on the upper left corner of the main product picture. What Brands We Carry

The brands we offer here at the United States Flag Store include some of the most significant and recognizable names in the industry.

The first we are going to talk about is Annin Flagmakers. They are an American-based company and one of the oldest and wide-reaching manufacturers of American flags in the world. They have been making the Star-Spangled Banner since 1847. Annin has seen their American flags participate in some of the most notable events in history including:

• Abraham Lincoln's formal admission to office
• Apollo 11's 1969 mission to the moon
• The grand opening of the Brooklyn Bridge

Annin also had their hand in the initial inception and design of the POW/ MIA flag,

The next brand that we love to promote is Valley Forge. This is another American-based brand and they have been around since 1882. They offer top-tier products at accessible prices and have provided most of the United States flags used by the United States military starting around World War II and continuing to do so up until the present day. They have seen their flags throughout history as well, most notably in and for the Armed Forces. A Valley Forge flag was present:

Flag Fabrics and their Attributes

So, you have decided you want a flag, maybe you know what kind of flag and the brand you want to support, but have you considered what kind of fabric your new flag should be made of? Well, you're in luck because I'm here to break down the different fabrics available, their attributes, their qualities, and in which scenarios they will work best. With that out of the way, let's take a look.

• Nylon Flags- This is one of the most popular types of flags we carry and is used primarily as an outdoor flag. They are lightweight, vivid in color, and fly wonderfully with little wind. Nylon flags are affordable, durable, and a great choice all around.
• Polyester and Printed Polyester Flags- These are going to be our most economical choice on the list and are used mostly as indoor flags, although they can be used outdoors as well. Polyester and printed polyester offer an attractive, simple solution at a low price.
• Super Knit Polyester- Another low-cost option, Super Knit Polyester walks the line between standard polyester and nylon. It makes for a superb outdoor flag that can also double as an excellent indoor flag.
• Sewn Polyester- The heaviest and most expensive flag type we carry, Sewn Polyester flags are designed to fly in high wind areas. These are going to be the most durable and longest-lasting of the bunch. Sewn polyester flags are an excellent choice if you plan on flying your flag 24/7 or live in a windy area. It should be noted though, that with it being a heavier flag, it will require more wind to see this flag properly "fly."
